Urban Weekend

Zoey must have taken this photo yesterday in the park yesterday. She loved these particular trees, Japanese and Chinese filberts. All the Angels have gone through stages of loving to take millions of photos with my digital camera. Zoey is in the midst of hers.

Sasha had a rough night -- so did Mark. At 4am he told me that she had been barking so he took her out and she had an explosive diarrhea situation that fortunately happened outside, not in the house. I slept through the whole thing. This has continued all day and culminated in a huge vomit mess on the studio floor. I thought that Lynn might get sick from watching... what a mess to clean up. Yesterday in the park she found the tail of something -- probably a squirrel, that she was happily chewing on. In the baseball park by the high school she found a chocolate bar and ate through a bit of it before we got it away from her. She is a lab through and through -- she will eat anything and everything. Hopefully whatever got into her has passed through.

I was in the studio with Lynn and Adrienne today. A few weeks ago they started to work in the 3rd dimension and have been doing so the last few weeks. I could no longer resist, so I made a few pieces with some physical depth, too. We haven't heard back from the Tolstoy Museum yet. But we continue to happily work on our project together.

Mark wants to stay in the city this weekend so I am being a dutiful wife and staying as well. I really prefer to be in the woods, in the open, but now and then it's OK to be in the city. Tomorrow I will attend a workshop that Narayan is giving and tomorrow night a friend from the gallery is having a birthday party. She is a real kook so it should be an interesting event.
