Cooking Rice

Another night of diarrhea. Mark and I spent a lot of time cleaning the house late last night. It was perfect! Bu I had a sneaking suspicion that it wouldn't last. I woke up at 2:30 am and found A LOT of diarrhea in her crate so I cleaned it up. That took a while. She woke up again at 5:30 and had a little bit in the crate. I am exhausted! Fortunately 2 friends emailed, Lucy and Lynn, and recommended that I feed her rice until her stool firms up. So I am cooking rice at 5:30 in the morning! Lynn also suggested that it might be worms. Sasha is getting her last shot and de-worming tomorrow at the breeder's. Maybe I should have driven out West last weekend as she should have gotten her last doses on Sunday. I asked the breeder and she said it was fine to wait 5 days.

She is cute as a bug this morning, quietly chewing on her squeeky ball. Here she is a few days with a plush toy that Mark bought her with the John Deere logo.

Mark is taking tomorrow off so we will drive out West tonight. I am very much looking forward to it. We haven't had the house to ourselves in several months. Michael will fly home from rehab 9/20. So we have a few more weeks of no drama and some time to figure out what to do with him next.
