My Favorite Hill

I take photos of this hill regularly. I took this one last weekend. The light was dramatic, the flowers facing south as they soak up the last of the summer sun. I always use a digital point and shoot yet it still captures the beauty of this moment. Mark and I were driving back from the pond where we took Sasha to walk and play in the water.

We stayed in town last night but are heading out West early this morning. Mark had gallery sitting duty and then went out with a friend to see a theatre production called "Cabaret". We are in a funny role reversal lately -- I stay home all the time with puppy. And I am loving it! A friend, Marysia, came over for dinner last night. We met about 15 years ago through an Iyengar yoga teacher training program. I left the community about 7 years ago but she continues to be very active with them. She told me that Patricia Walden is teaching pranayama on Friday afternoons for the next few weeks. I would enjoy that so might be taking that class for the next 4 weeks. Although the timing could conflict with working on the War and Peace Project. Too many things to do, so little time!
