Paris Door

I took lots of photos -- many of them of doors. Isn't this a fabulous color?

It was a short work week. Just 2 days. Surprisingly, it wasn't a difficult return. It is often a nightmare to return from even a few days away. I am in a very good phase at work. I am enjoying the patients and am really engaged. I have a really good clinical supervisor which helps a lot, too. He is much more academic than I am, so it is good to be challenged by him. He asks me why I do what I do -- like most everything in my life, I work intuitively and it's often hard to explain how I work. He is enriching my practice. We'll be starting our second year as of July 1. 2 years it the longest you are allowed to keep the same supervisor, so I want to take full advantage of his help these next 13 months.

The Angels came over for a visit tonight. My sister was teaching and my brother-in-law dropped them off and went to work out and do some errands. Shayna asked if I could teach her to text. She wanted to text Ashley who was in the next room. I gave her about 2 sentences of explanation and she was immediately doing it by herself, sharing knock knock jokes with Ashley. It was hilarious. Zoey helped me plant some zinnia seeds. Luke again had the chess board out. When he wasn't splashing me with rain water. I plied them with stories about Paris and brought back little souvenirs. Eiffel Tower keychains (how tacky!!) and tiny candy drops. They loved it and want to go on the next trip. My sister said OK. They kids are excited -- and so is aunty!
