A perfect day

Yesterday was what I would call a perfect day. I spent the morning with Team Tolstoy, working on collages with Lucy (pictured here), Lynn, Emma and Adrienne. We are now in our own studio which is really great. We are gearing up for our first show in December. I left relatively early, in order to get out West in time to take Sasha for a walk in the woods. We walked for an hour off-leash. It was absolutely beautiful.

Late-afternoon yoga and meditation practice, then Mark and I went out for pizza with Jeff. We went to a wonderful place in a tiny hill town. There is absolutely nothing else in this town other than a gas station. Yet an adventurous couple decided to open a brick oven type of fancy pizza place in the middle of nowhere. The restaurant is in a former church so the space is very cool. You open the door from the street and feel as if you have fallen into some other reality. Patrons are well-dressed, the food is excellent, and it's funky. What a find.

Mark and I took Sasha for a 2-hour off-leash woods adventure today. At one point Mark went off-trail, up a steep ravine. Sasha followed him, then seemingly paraglided down, flying through the air. She had a blast.

Michael moves out today. You know how I feel about that!
