Avedon Fashion 1944–2000

Early morning in the dog park with my dear friend Lulu and her brother John. John is visiting from out of town and has a 7 month old puppy named Pippa. Lulu suggested that we meet early in the park for a doggy date. I haven't seen John for 15 years. It was fun -- for all of us. It's funny how my social life is revolving around the puppy. Now I think -- is that place dog-friendly?

She's got the diarrhea again so tonight I'm cooking chicken and rice for her. I am totally grossed out by handling raw meat but given that the vet isn't open and I don't have any more cans of the ID, this is the best option.

It's been an interesting couple of days. I really need to rest and more or less stay put. I spent the afternoon yesterday in the studio with Chris, working on some placemats that I'm trading with Dick for his amazing stained glass panels. Today Sasha and I went for a long walk around Jamaica Pond. She didn't go in the water much, just up to her chest. We both took a nap (I never, ever do that) then I rode my bike to the Museum of Fine Arts and saw Richard Avedon photos. I had just about 3o minutes until closing time, just enough to enjoy one small show.

Mark is coming home tonight, at last. He is working tomorrow but I have another free, unscheduled day. I am liking this!
