Lantern Parade

Slight change of plans late in the day... Zoey wavered about her first overnight with me, so Luke gladly offered to come in her place. He just turned 7 last week. He is most excellent company. We were playing with Sasha in the driveway late in the afternoon and our neighbors told us about the annual Lantern Parade in Jamaica Plain. So at the last minute we decided to go. They lent us a witch's hat (I wore that one) and lanterns and glow sticks. We walked over and back. Luke is not used to walking so far but he did a great job. Of course we brought Sasha with us.

This morning we took her to the dog park, and now are going to the studio. He loves making art. I love spending time with any and all of the Angels.

I return to work this week. Sigh. Even though I didn't spend time in the country, I still had a wonderful week. Topped off by time with the Angels... life is good.
