I Do WIndows

I took this photo on the weekend. I love the big, dramatic sky!

Today was an enjoyable, productive day. I am doing a few chores that I've wanted to get to for years! A few years ago we replaced all the windows in the house and got the ones that are easy to clean. Which doesn't explain why I haven't cleaned them in the 3 years they've been in place. The house looks much more brighter and cheerful now that we can see through the windows!

I met up with Vanessa for lunch. She asked me to be godmother to her second child when she was born which is almost 2 years ago. I am doing a terrible job. What is a godmother supposed to do, anyway? Then I met up with Emma and did a little shopping and a long walk around the Pond with Sasha. I have a real weakness for hats, Big trouble -- they have absolutely fabulous hats. The owner/designer said they have 500 styles, many of them designed by him and his wife. Too much fun. I bought just one -- but will definitely return soon. Then to my sister's house to celebrate Luke's 7th birthday. He wanted pizza and cake. Perfect family party for a 7 year old! A satisfying day in the city.
