Metta circle

I took this photo a few weeks ago while snow shoeing by myself, the day I got a little lost and it was extremely cold. The sky was wonderful. I like taking pictures with mostly sky.

My friend has surgery tomorrow, a lumpectomy. A few of us got together tonight to offer her a prayer circle. It was really lovely -- and really powerful. We offered metta to ourselves, then to her, then to anyone who might need it. We sat for just 15 minutes, but the time seemed to go by so quickly. It is hard to know what else to offer -- what better than your love and compassion?

Tomorrow I will spend in the studio. Lucy will spend some time over there with me. I love this new schedule!
