Seven Sisters

Yesterday Sasha and I joined a group of women for a 4+ hour hike at Karen's invitation. She did great! Karen was wary and warned me that I might end up carrying her back but she had energy to spare. What an impressive little puppy. She stayed right with us off-leash. She only got into a jam once when she couldn't figure out how to get down a very sharp rocky drop. Neither could I, for that matter. Karen gave her an assist, but pretty soon she figured out how to go around obstacles. There were 7 women expected but one couldn't go so it was funny that Sasha was the "7th sister" of the group.

Afterwards we stopped at a fancy farm stand where we indulged in cider donuts. and a caramel apple, one of my favorite indulgences. I got back to the city quite late but it was totally worth it.
