Dharma at the Dana

I had a very quick visit to the Dana Farber today -- just a blood draw and injection. Even so, I was able to spend some time with Chris, their Buddhist chaplain. I see him at every visit. I was teasing him about providing dharma at the Dana. We always talk about meditation and yoga. His wife is a yoga teacher. He also knows Narayan, so we always have lots to talk about.

Tonight was Shayna's art show at Mass Art. Her student teacher is a student at Mass Art, and as part of her thesis project, she showed her students' work. The teacher said that she introduced the boxes of Joseph Cornell to the class, and she liked how Shayna did hers. Shayna is very shy in general and she was particularly shy at the show tonight. So cute. She barely said a word, but was thrilled nonetheless.
