In Paris

We arrived safely yesterday. We finally got to our hotel in late morning, the same place we stayed last May. It is comfortable, returning to a familiar neighborhood. Mark took a little nap, but I high-tailed it to a restaurant that Lynn introduced me to in 2004 called Chartier. It is very simple. If you are alone, you are seated with others. I sat next to 2 French woman and across from a Japanese guy. It was entertaining to try to follow their conversation. Not that I understood much at all. The Japanese guy didn't speak English. He took this photo of me; I also took one of him. I was tired! but eager to get out on the street. I went to get Mark a bit later, and we spent the afternoon and evening in Montmarte. We went to a cafe where "Amalie" was filmed. One of the highlights was doing meditation in Sacred Heart.

I will write more another time, but we are having a great time. Today we walked around the Latin Quarter. I did meditation in Notre Dame. How cool is that?

Tomorrow is our last day here in Paris. We couldn't re-book to fly out on Sunday so we have decided to fly to Dublin on Saturday, then back to Boston on Sunday.

Tomorrow? maybe the catacombs. Definitely will find another church to practice meditation in!

Loving it here.
